KEEPING YOU SAFE WHILE YOU VISIT US

 

 

The Hair Spa has regular deep cleans. We have undertaken the relevant Covid-19 courses to ensure we completely understand what is needed to keep us all safe.

 

We have listed below how we will be currently operating, under the Government guidelines. We can’t wait for things to get back to what we know is normal but, in the meantime, we will try and keep it as normal as possible just with a few tweaks.

 

Before you come for your appointment:

• Have you had the recent onset of a new continuous cough?

• Do you have a high temperature?

• Have you noticed a loss of, or change in, normal sense of taste or smell?

 

If you have any of these symptoms, however mild, please do not come for your appointment. You should stay at home and we will reschedule your appointment.

 

 

At your appointment

To keep the number of guests in the salon to a minimum, please arrive alone to your appointment - no one can accompany you unless we have pre-authorised this.

 

Please arrive on time for your appointment. We may not be able to accommodate you to be early or late. 

 

If you are coming in for a colour appointment, please wash and thoroughly dry your hair before your appointment. If you are coming in for a cut we will wash your hair for you. 

 

If possible, please leave your coat in the car. 

 

On arrival, please sanitise your hands with our hand sanitiser on our reception desk. A hand sanitiser is also available on your shelf for you to use as well as in the bathroom.

 

It is now compulsory for all guests to wear masks. We suggest you bring a disposable mask as they will get wet when cleansing your hair or could become tinted with colour.  However, if you do not have a disposable mask we are able to provide a fresh, disposable mask for you. 

 

We ask that before you enter the bathroom you use the hand sanitiser on reception and, following visits to the bathroom, you wash your hands in the bathroom and use the hand sanitiser provided. 

 

Please avoid touching your face, and to cough or sneeze into a tissue which is binned safely, or into your arm if a tissue is not available. If you would like a tissue or disposable gloves please let us know. 

 

Your chair, shelf and mirror will be disinfected in between guests as well as our backwash basins and chairs and our card machine will be also wiped clean between guests.

 

Stylists will be wearing visors.  Screens have been placed in between all styling stations and backwash basins for your safety. 

 

As has always been our procedure all our combs, clips, scissors and brushes will be cleaned and disinfected between guests. 

 

Hairdryers, straighteners and any other tools will be wiped down with disinfectant wipes as well as any products touched by us. 

 

When purchasing your home care, please do not touch the products, we will get them for you.

 

We are happy to now be able to serve you refreshments. Hot drinks have to be in disposable cups at this time. Our water is served in bottles to minimise contact. 

 

We have transferred our magazines over to digital magazines. Just scan the barcode provided on your shelf and you will have up to 70 titles to read whilst with us. 

 

Where possible we ask if you can pay for your appointment via card but we do accept cash.

 

As we are operating on a smaller, limited scale we cannot afford to have last minute cancellations. A 48 hour cancellation policy is in place. If you cancel your appointment less than 48 hours before, we do charge 50% of your service charge. 

 

All of these procedures are in place with yours and our safety in mind, to allow us to remain open. It may feel strange but please rest assured that we are so excited to be able to see you again and get back to doing what we love.
