We kindly ask for at least 48 hours notice if you need to cancel or rearrange your appointment.


If you are running late please call the Spa on 07877 696130. Depending on our other appointments scheduled in for the day, if you are running more than 10 minutes late it may be necessary to reschedule your appointment. We like to give all our Guests a calm and relaxing experience and it is not fair to rush others if we go over schedule for Guests running late. 



If you fail to attend 3 appointments without informing the Hair Spa we will unfortunately not be able to schedule any future appointments.


In line with our manufacturers’ professional safety instructions, we carry out the following Allergy Alert Testing procedure with our Guests:

  • For every Guest having a colour for the first time with us, and every 12 months,  an Allergy Alert Test is carried out  at least 48 hours before your colour application.

  • For subsequent visits for colour applications, a professional consultation is carried out on EVERY visit, before your service, which is a short questionnaire which will enable us to determine whether we can use colour on your hair or if we need to carry out another Allergy Alert Test.

  • Guests are to answer the questions on the short questionnaire, presented before your colour service is carried out and your answers to the questionnaire are to be recorded on a record card, signed and dated, and a copy of the record card is kept in the salon and the Guest is given their own copy.

  • If a Guest answers NO to all nine questions on the questionnaire, we can make an immediate application of colour to your hair.

  • Allergies may develop over time so we keep a full history of colour applications and we will carry out an Allergy Alert Test once a year, even if you are having your colours regularly done.

  • If you don't have your skin test your colour service will have to be rescheduled. 


Please let us know if you have extra long or thick hair. Colour services are subject to a £20 surcharge for extra long or extra thick hair due to the extra time and product needed. 


It is important to us that we help you reach your hair goals so we need to make sure we book you in for the right service with plenty of time allocated and therefore it may be necessary to book you in for a consultation before we book your service. Consultations are complimentary but please ensure you attend as time will have been blocked out from other services in order to carry out your consultation. A consultation is essential for new colour Guests and prior to colour changes and corrections.  


We value you as a Guest and want you to leave us having thoroughly enjoyed your experience on every visit.

We would like to take every opportunity to meet and exceed your expectations. 

If you are not 100% satisfied after your service please contact the salon within 7 days of your service. 

If it is a case of just changing your mind, you exceed the 7 day notice period, you have made any attempt to change or alter your hair cut or colour either by yourself or through a third party then normal charges will apply.



Whilst we take every precaution to protect your clothing whilst cutting and colouring we advise you to wear appropriate clothing for colour and cutting services. High necklines and collars should be avoided. 

We take every precaution to keep your personal belongings safe whilst you are enjoying our services but we cannot accept any responsibility for loss or damage to personal items whilst you are on our premises. 


Gift Vouchers are available to purchase in £20 denominations.  They are redeemable against services or retail products in Terri Gilham Hair Spa. Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the purchase date and are not redeemable for cash or refunds. Gift Vouchers cannot be replaced if lost, stolen or destroyed.
